Stroke for Stroke: Cheque presented to CSSG by Lord Mayor

The Cork Stroke Support Group were pleased to receive a cheque for €7225 which was raised from a ‘Stroke for Stroke’ golf classic held in May 2018. This was organised by brothers Dan, Paul, Richard and John Cronin in memory of their dad Sean who experienced a stroke prior to his death last year.  The large sum of money raised was thanks to participants, prize givers and sponsors and in particular we would like to acknowledge the main sponsors Carbon Group. Money raised will go towards rehabilitation and stroke support activities. Stroke Support Group members are grateful to Lord Mayor Mick Finn for hosting the reception in City Hall on June 22nd. Thanks to the Cronins for organising a fantastic fundraising golf classic which was enjoyed by all who participated.
