Board Games

“Playing board games keeps stroke survivors engaged and requires them to use their memory and concentration skills. The games also promote the use of other cognitive skills, such as information retention and problem-solving. Playing board games can provide people with socialization, which reduces boredom and stress. Lowering anxiety levels can stave off depression and lead to better cognition for stroke survivors.” kimberly Miller 2019 https://www.homecareassistanceorlando.com/brain-exercising-activities-for-stroke-recovery/
