Cork Stroke Support Centre opens on Friday

A centre that offers support to stroke survivors and their families in Cork officially opens on Friday.

Cork Stroke Support is a registered charity that was formed in 2010.

The new Cork Stroke Support Centre in Blackrock offers a wide range of services including; counselling, physio and peer support.

The establishment of the charity’s first premises has been achieved by local fundraising and donations.

Speaking to Cork’s 96FM and C103 News, Chairperson Dan Cronin says the centre is the first of its kind in Cork.
