Become a Volunteer

Every Volunteer makes a difference

We are looking for compassionate, reliable volunteers to assist individuals recovering from stroke. Volunteers will support therapists and participants during rehabilitation activities that help improve mobility, communication, confidence, and independence.

Activity & Exercise Volunteer roles include:
  • Assisting with light exercise and mobility activities under professional supervision
  • Supporting cognitive and communication exercises
  • Helping set up or organize therapy sessions
  • Offering encouragement and companionship to participants
  • Assisting with group activities, such as art, games, or adaptive recreational programs
  • Assisting with preparing refreshments for the group
Ideal volunteers:
  • Empathetic and patient
  • Good listeners and excellent communicators
  • Interested in health, rehabilitation, or community service
We have a number of volunteer roles available:
  • Volunteer Activities Assistant
  • Volunteer Exercise Assistant
  • Volunteer Driver
